HAPPY CHRISTMAS
The definition of ‘Shalom’ entails peace, justice and reconciliation holistically integrated. We all want this experience in our lives at the holidays and in the year ahead. The yearning and the need for peace is especially poignant in Eastern Africa, which has been torn apart by generations of exploitation and underdevelopment.
We pray for the safety of you and your dear ones during the challenging Coronavirus pandemic. Covid-19 has adversely affected the marginalized and conflict prone African environments where health facilities are inadequate.
Would you be willing to put Shalom at the top of your list of charities that you contribute to as we enter the season of giving? We’re not tied to any major funding institution, and there are so many that depend on your generosity and will be grateful for it. Your donations make a difference – for every dollar donated, 94 cents goes directly into projects throughout the region, here in Africa.
