Peace for the holidays from the

Shalom Center for Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation (SCCRR)

The definition of ‘Shalom’ entails peace, justice  and reconciliation holistically integrated. We all want this       experience in our lives at the holidays and in the year ahead. The yearning and the need for peace is especially poignant in Eastern Africa, which has been torn apart by generations of conflict.

The Shalom Center for Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation has forged a methodology to resolve conflict in the region, foster understanding and respect, encourage development and get everyone working together for the    common good. And it has proven successful.

We’ve accomplished so much in the past decade, transforming violent conflicts, touching the lives of thousands of     people, building-rehabilitating hundreds of schools, installing solar power for evening studying, and training thousands in the way of peace-building. But there is much yet to do. And we need support.

Would you be willing to put Shalom at the top of your list of charities that you contribute to as we enter the season of    giving? We’re not tied to any major funding institution, and there are so many that depend on your generosity and will be grateful for it.

Your donations make a difference – for every dollar donated, 94 cents goes directly into projects throughout the region, here in Africa.

You can make a contribution to this important work online at “DONATE” or you can mail a cheque  to:

Shalom Center of Africa (SCOA), 117 West 28th St., 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10001. USA

Shalom (SCCCR), 16 Eyre Square Galway, Republic of Ireland,

SCCRR (NI) LTD, 319 Clooney Road, Limavady, Co. Derry, BT49 9JE. Northern Ireland

In spirit and solidarity, we wish you and your family peace and blessings for the holidays. And we thank you in  advance for your kindness and generosity. Merry Christmas and Peaceful 2019.
