In 2014, Shalom donated chairs and tables for students of Parkati Nursery school to enable our future leaders have decent furniture to use as they learn. Used to conforming to harsh conditions, the head master and the students were sincerely grateful for the donation that made learning that much easier.

Shalom recognizes that education is vital to children in remote, rural areas – and that is also an avenue through which young members of our society can develop positive attitudes and perceptions for each other despite different ethnic backgrounds. It is evident that many schools in the remote parts of the country are under-equipped. If there is a way to construct and improve the facilities of schools, which is a motivating factor for both the teachers and students, Shalom is ready and willing to do all that it possibly can.
